Stone Carpet & Fine Quartz
We offer two flooring systems that use coloured quartz aggregate that can be used in domestic, commercial and industrial settings (Fine Quartz).
These flooring systems are very adaptable, and can have several different types of aggregates incorporated into them.
Overview of the systems
Touchstone Quartz Stone Carpet (Depth 8mm)
2-3mm Quartz Stones / pebbles bound in a clear matrix of epoxy or polyurethane resins laid unsealed or sealed with an acrylic filler coat and a polyurethane polish to give a textured water-resistant finish (also available in a waterproof finish for swimming pools and bar tops).
Over many years of experience, the 2-3mm quartz stone has proved to be the perfect size not only in terms of aesthetics, but also maintenance. Other larger pebble sizes are available though. This material is suitable for internal and external (unsealed) residential and light commercial applications.

Touchstone Fine Quartz Sand Screed (Depth 5-6mm)
Extremely tough Touchstone Fine Quartz floors are made from washed and kiln dried coloured sands which are bound together using tough solvent free epoxy resins.
The surface is sealed twice with further coats of epoxy resin and finally a matt coat is applied to increase slip resistance and make the floor easier to clean. This is an attractive surface that is tough enough even for heavy industrial floors. This waterproof flooring can be coved to form an integral skirting for wet areas and ease of cleaning.
